Sandbag Information




The Alameda County Public Works Agency provides sandbags for residents of unincorporated Alameda County at the following locations:

Alameda County Public Works Agency
Maintenance and Operations Corporation Yards
4825 Gleason Drive, Dublin
951 Turner Court, Hayward

Sandbags are available outside the corporation yard gates and are available 24/7 (while supplies last).
Maximum of 4 bags per household. Sandbags are replenished during normal working hours.


Castro Valley Fire Stations
20336 San Miguel Avenue, Castro Valley
19780 Cull Canyon Road, Castro Valley

Each site is self-serve – bring your own shovel.
Maximum of 4 bags per household (based on availability).
Sand and sandbags are replenished by the Public Works Agency during normal working hours.
